Commons:Categories for discussion/2025/09/Category:Cars taken with Canon EOS 5D Mark III
I have already considered submitting a deletion/discussion request, as I am, in my opinion, quite tolerant when it comes to categories. In many cases, a specialization such as “Cars” here creates a parallel category tree, as we already know from the "by year" categories (like Road transport by year), for example. But with categories such as “Taken with <any camera>,” it makes sense to stick with photography equipment and not mix it with other categories. I fear that otherwise we will eventually also have categories such as “Buildings taken with <any camera>” or “Land vehicles taken with <any camera>” or “Trucks taken with <any camera>” or similar.
